Day 2. Home Valley Station – G.R.R – WA 6th July

We travelled over the Pentecost River crossing without any issues the next morning and drove the enormous 9kms to our next stop which was Home Valley Station. We only did the small number of kms this day as we wanted to be staying somewhere where we could watch the coverage of the final State of Origin match (maybe it would have been better if we missed it!). Home Valley Station is one of a number of cattle stations on the Gibb River Road which is also set up for tourism now. We enjoyed a great day relaxing in their pool and going for walk down to the river.
